Atheism and Christianity?

I am stuck between the two. I believe that something had to spark life and create the planets and whatnot (God). But, I don't believe all of the bible stuff. Now, what I want to happen for this is to NOT have anyone argue. I want an adult conversation about this. I know how this makes people explode with rage. But, I basically want people to prove me wrong and almost give me no reason to think Christianity is a giant hoax or nonsense. Likewise, I want people to give me reasons why it IS a hoax and nonsense. I want all sides to the argument. Even other random religions views. I just want to believe in -something- as opposed to -nothing-. Thanks!
