I'm a John Lennon fan, so I'll help you out with that one. Regarding his death, you could use his most popular song, Imagine. (It's ironic that someone who sang about peace was shot to death.) I really don't know much about the other situations, but John Lennon's song, Nobody Told Me could probably relate to a few of them.("Nobody told me there'd be days like these/Strange days indeed!")
